Albert is a PhD Candidate in Computer Science à l'institut Mila and at Concordia University, in Montréal, QC, Canada.

Albert is happily co-supervised by Dr Eugene Belilovsky and Dr Guy Wolf; hence, he is part of the Recherche et Analyse Fondamentales d'Apprentissage, Linéarisation et Exploration en Science-des-données (RAFALES) group.

  • [15th] Our paper on “Non-Uniform Parameter-Wise Model Merging” will be presented at the 9th MLBD Special Session, within the IEEE Big Data 2024 conference, in Washington, D.C., USA 🇺🇸.
  • [10th] I will be the Volunteer Chair for the Latinx in AI Workshop at NeurIPS 2024, in Vancouver, BC, Canada 🇨🇦.

  • [27th] I completed my PhD program’s comprehensive exam. From now on, I am officially a PhD Candidate!

  • [24th] My colleague, Stefan Horoi, and I presented our work on “Harmony in diversity: Merging neural networks with canonical correlation analysis” at the ICML 2024, in Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹.
